“Dr. L” — University of Pennsylvania-trained with a three-year orthodontic residency and MS from UMDNJ, plus the Roth Functional and Arnett jaw-surgical courses.
Dr. Irina Lovinescu — “Dr. L” to her patients — grew up in Pennsylvania and relocated to Colorado Springs in 2010. She earned her dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2005, then completed a three-year orthodontic residency and a Master of Science at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
She is a graduate of the Roth Functional Technique Course and Bill Arnett’s Orthodontics and Jaw Surgical Course, and brings diverse clinical experience and a famously strong work ethic to every case. Her goal: beautiful smiles and happy, satisfied patients and families.
Her husband John is a retired Army officer whose last posting was with NORTHCOM at Peterson Air Force Base; he retired in 2015 and became a middle school science teacher. Dr. L’s hobbies run from stained glass and mosaics to rock climbing, skiing, ice climbing, and hiking all over Colorado.
